Put a turn out on it pointing to the side so the poor guy parked next to you does all the washing.

flappers are cool, but they'll drive you nuts sitting at a light as they "tink tink tink tink" right behind your head.

I agree with Forrest, on a play toy they'd be great, but daily driving, they do drive you nuts. People told me that before I put one on mine when I had the single stack, I still said nah, I'll go ahead. Give it a couple weeks. It will get annoying. I suppose if you wanted to get creative and add some wheel weights to the counter balance so they floated better and didn't 'tink' at idle they'd be alright.

Guys, you don't need to worry about drain holes in the stacks at all.

The beauty of stacks is that they are self- draining. All you need to do is give it time to rust out. Once your stacks have had enough rainwater in them, they will put a rusthole at the lowest point for you.

Presto-- self-drainage.

My truck is white. Have yet to have a problem with soot. Do have a drain hole in the bottom elbow that goes towards the downpipe.

Kinda like fender trimming on the older trucks, just let the rust do it for you!

Reasons I personally don't care for stacks:

1) take up too much space
2) makes it look redneck (imho)
3) More expensive
4) Unnecessary

#2 is the biggest reason. I have to admit, I like the SOUND of stacks, but not the look.

The miter-cuts don't seem to look nearly as redneck as the turnouts do.

Im thinkin along the lines of a absorbant pad on the bottom. Id think if you drilled a whole it would leak maybe not to where you smell it but turn the bottom of the truck black. My 04.5 turns my bumper black and its stock. irritates the heck outa me. So if you just put some kinda pan with some kind of cloth thing it would absorb and evaporate. wahla. gives pampers a new path for products
