Question for those that have switched
Anyone change from RV275 injectors to Mach 1.6 or Mach 2.0
injectors ? Was the power increase really noticable and worth
the exrta cost ? I'm extra interested in those that have done
this with the HO engines.

Dieselcamper, Still talking about injectors... Do you still not want to tap the pump wire? I ran some 1.5s while I was doing some injector swapping, IMO without a wire tap box you won't notice too much of a difference.
Keep your RV275s and buy a TST, you'll get a heck of kick out of a TST and you'll have adjustability.

I went from RV275's to Mach 1.75's and there was a noticeable difference. Plugged a Smarty in and it is even more noticeable.
You'll run out of air about this point (in most cases depending on your box setting). I stepped up to a PDR35 with a 14cm housing and it makes a real nice package, especially for towing . I could have gone to a different turbo but I want to keep my exhaust brake.

I had rv275 and the 1.6s in an HO and the 1.6 with a smarty is as big as you want to go for safe towing and not having to eagle eye the pyro. even 1.6s in an HO will see high egts if you keep you r foot buried that said my trailers are all heavy my 5th wheel toy hauler tips out at 16950 and the 1.6s give me 11-12 mpg the 1.6s are a lot more hp for the $ my .02

I'm running 1.6's right now. Had 275's and jammer2's in the past. 1.6's run much better. I also tow my 5th wheel over Donner at about the same weight as you except I have an SO with an auto. My set up dynoed at 440 hp and my EGT's running in 3rd stay between 1100-1225. with a 6 speed you should do even better.
