if you mean a switch to be able to make smoke, i dont think so. The only thing i know of would be a box or chip that is adjustable so you can turn the fuel up or down at will.... I could be wrong

You could always have a switch that operates a small electic pump and pumps used motor oil from a tank into the exhaust system! That would be a heck of a smoke switch

All the smoke switch does is fool the fueling box into thinking that there is more boost that there actually is. So if your box plugs into the map sensor, it should do some boost fooling, and you should be able to tap into the c and d(3rd gen for sure and maybe the same for 2nd gens) wires on the map plug (from the fueling box) and it should work. I wouldnt think that the map sensor would be much different as they look to be the same on both 2nd and 3rd gen trucks.

I think this would work especially if you have a TST because it fuels based on the boost levels. If you make it think there is full boost it will be fueling. I believe this is why it does nothave bottom end power because boost is not built up. I wish someone would try this as I hate messsing with wires. I may take it back to the diesel shop that installed my TST and see if they can rig one up on my 00 dodge.

On my COMP you tap the injection pump wire, and the module monitors the MAP sensor.. If you unplug the MAP with the COMPs then it tricks it into thinking there is full boost... HECK of a lot of smoke (even without injectors)

and btw SFA, the install for the COMP is really simple, i assume the TST is about the same way to install... its very easy and done in about 2 hours with the right tools... and im with ya on that one, i hate wires too (maybe save ya a lil $ instead of payin someone to do it)
