Question on Mach-4 EDM injectors?
I am interested in getting some Mach-4's for my 2001 H.O. I have a question about something I read on the F1Diesel website. In the description paragraph for the 150HP Mach 4 's it says
Does that mean these injectors will give 175 horsepower increase or that other brands rated at 175 hp aren't really giving that much? Don M, you got your ears on?
The Mach 4's will outpower and drive better than even the 175 HP injector available from other vendors, baring none!

Exactly. Other sticks advertised at 175hp don't deliver the numbers.
However, that website hasn't been updated in a while, so it's possible some newer sticks (read: jammers) will produce the numbers they claim.
If you're considering 4s, I'd HIGHLY recommend them. Very clean and quite powerful. I doubt I'll ever go bigger on this truck-- the HO simply can't really use anything much bigger. I'll drug it before I go bigger again.

I've heard nothing but good about all of the MACH series injectors. Granted they are a little more pricey than some of the others, but for the performance I'd say you are getting your best bang for your buck. I'm still waiting to finish some other projects and I'm gonna look into some myself

I love mine. They are a much better injector than the older Mach 3s I replaced them with. Fuel mileage is better with the 4s than the 3s also as well as less smoke and of course more power.

Yes, they may make even more on an ETH-- but not on my truck. I'm only getting about 80hp from mine, since I don't have a boost fooler or any electronics presently. I should have a VA in a few days, so then I'd be able to dyno it.

There's alot going on here...
To "rate" an injector, you have to calculate how many cc's the injector flows, and you come up with the "imaginary" HP number the injector is supposed to produce.
What Don's injectors are doing is, injecting the fuel more efficiently, resulting in more HP per cc of fuel, than the competitors injectors.
Also, Depending on your own trucks airflow, will depend on how many HP you will gain with these injectors.
A truck with a set of twins, and a boost fooler will pick up 200+HP with a 120HP injector, compared to a stock truck might squeeze out 120HP from a 200HP injector.
Make Sense?
