Question on leveling kit

I would like to know the diameter of the coil spring or of a leveling kit both inside and out. I am going to build my own out of some 3/8" plate. I don't have the truck here with me so I can't measure it myself. Been wanting to try out the new plasma cutter here at work. Thanks for the help.

I will try to get some measurements tommarow, I built my own spacers for the front, and I happen to have an extra set of coils around here to look at to!.

sorry it took so long, been out of town, the spacers I made, where 2 1/2 inches the top ring is 5 1/2 inches around, the inside of the coil spring top is 5 inches, but the bottom of the spacer, where it comes out it is 4 inches, because you wanna use the factory rubber boot that the spring sits in and the hole is 4 inches in diameter, so it fits tight, and the spring will sit nicely right inside of it. I really thing you are gonna have to take yours apart to really see what I am talkin about. I am 1 whowill build before I buy, and I really think that these , for the price, u should just buy, because I got to much time invested in mine, and I took them out because they are to tall now!lol, I pull a trailer and dont want the lift in the front because of the headlights being up in the air, so, If you still want to make a set, or want a set for cheap. if your interested in mine, you can have them for $40. you ship. they are just sitting here takin up space. or if anyone else wants them, pm me. andyt has 1st dibs though........

Doodah, I appreciate the offer but I still want to build my own. I am looking at 2" of lift. One question, with the lift on, did you have problems with the aligment?

other than my trac bar needed a luks link, it wasnt a problem, but with the 2 1/2-3 inches of lift, I also made some flat steel plates with a hole in the center and got rid of the factory shock towers, so I could use the factory shocks. but shouldnt be neccissary for 1 1/2-2" of lift., check your trac bar out though, because of the diference it pulls the axle to the drivers side abit, and I had some death wobble issues.
