question about position of fuel plate

ok i know that if you take out the fuel plate or get a smaller grind you will get more fuel, but how does sliding it foward give you more fuel. wouldn't the arm that follows the plate not go as far. it would be like having a bigger grind wouldn't it.

Your acually sliding the plate away from the arm that follows the plate, thus causing the arm to go deeper, thus getting more fuel. Away from the arm=sliding plate towards front of truck.

Im not too sure if the afc housing would go back on if it was backwards. But, yes the profiled part of the plate points to the rear of the truck.

The plate will go in backwards, I've done this!!

BUT, THE AFC HOUSING WILL NOT GO ON !!

Took me about a half hour to realize, with this boards help, that I had the plate in backwards. I was sure that I had it in right, but I screwed up.

Hope this Helps,
Chris
