question about injectors

i have the mods in the sig and i am thinking of doing a better intake and injectors. i dont want to spend a lot of money on injectors but i would like to get some decent ones. you know not the best but not the worst. is their anything negative to injectors. does it affect you mileage when your just driving normal. give me the run down and let me know what injectors to buy. i will also be grabbing a fp gauge. my goal for the truck is the mods i have now and then just injectors so i hope they add a lot of power. will my tranny be able to hold?

I am also in the same delima. I will share what I have been told so far.
If you want "a lot" more power beyond what your mods already provide then forget about
A. not spending much (though I suppose this is relative to the individual)
B. your stock tranny holding for very long
C. Your turbo cooling very large stix

It's a crap deal, I know; but what do you do? A comp has probably already got you at about the maximum limits of your stocker tranny and pushing it with the turbo. You could probably get away with a mild injector upgrade reducing smoke, changing power curve, improving mileage (MAYBE) but as far as major improvements don't hold your breath. No worries; Between here and NWB I have had my bubble burst a dozen times in the last week and a half.

I got a good deal on the injectors in my sig by buying them used from Rip at www.sourceautomotive.biz/index.html. I've been extremely happy with them.

you can get some 150 hp jammers for around $300 and their good, a little smoker than machs and maybe not as much power, but less than 1/2 price, BUT like stated you EGT's and TRANNY won't like it. It's a never ending marry-go-round that you can't get off of. SO hold on to your wallet and enjoy the ride

I second the Jammers for "bang for your buck".
