I just bought my uncle's catcher and put it on my truck. He was telling me he had to reset the computer by pressing the throttle with the key in the on position. Is this nessesary? If so does anyone know the procedure? Also I just put a DTT trans in my pickup and it is short shifting and shifting around 1500 RPM's under light throttle. I checked to make sure the voltage at the regulator was correct and it is set at 4.6 volts. I also checked the throttle kick down cable and it is at it's max. I have no idea where to go from here. Anyone have any ideas? I thought about going to dodge to have the computer flashed but the trans shifted fine in my uncle's pickup so I am just sitting here scratching my head. Hope to here any ideas. Thanks. Sorry, the truck is a 1998.5 and the catcher and trans came out of a 99.

 

after re hooking the batteries turn key on, slowly step on throttle slowly let up repete done ...98.5-99 might have diff programing pm Bob wagner he sold the catch before it became (smarty) he can tell you
