well hell i will give that a shot though i have put like 9 quick taps on there. you tapped with inside wire that has 12V with the key in the on position correct?

 

I tapped the wire closest to the block, never checked to see if it had any volts going to it, just looked at the pic in my guide to make sure. Just made sure to get all the insulation off the spot I was tapping.

 

alright. when i put a Qtap on there and checked it with a volt meter. it had continuity. but we;ll try this i guess.

 

i just dont get how my old comp worked and blew smoke all over, and using the same pump tap the quad dosent work....

 

PROBLEMS SOLVED. dont know what it was. but i went through the whole thing when i got it back from quad. cleaned all connections and blew them out with comppressed air, adn scrapped the insulation off the pump tap wire to make sure it has a solid contact, and she smokes black now.. good news. thanks to everyone for all the sugestions and help.
