Bjans, can you get the download on your computer and you're just having trouble with updating the module, or are you having trouble with the downloading part?

ill download the file from quads site then ill open it and windows asks if i trust it i hit yes. Then i plug in the module and hit get information from m odule and it sits there searching for module then a window pops up sayin it cant find the module. The whole time its plugged into the computer it keeps connecting and disconnecting from the computer. you know the sound when you plug and unplug a usb device.

The first time I did mine it beeped a whole bunch, but now it works flawlessly. Do like Lotero said and hit the get information button then plug the usb into the computer. Will it read the module and tell you what version of software it has loaded?

The grid cycling theory doesn't hold any water with me... Using my high idle box I can set it in at 1200 in the coldest of temps, start the truck cold not plugged in and throw on the high idle... truck goes to 1200 (or wherever I set it) and may drop down 50RPM max when the grids cycle... actually doubt they drop that much... Seems silly that the high idle function will only work if the truck is warm! Little pointless then! Sounds like the signal isn't strong enough, or is too easily effected by the voltage drop when the grids cycle.

EDIT (10:05): Just tried ADR2000 (agressive) and was pleasantly surprised. Much refined from v300 tune we played with in Nov.
More surging than ADR1000...Yes. But surging is easier to drive around and nowhere as "all at once" as was on previous programs.
Might stay with it for a while. Cudos Quad!

not sure what a stock HO will do, but it immediately and totally slayed my stock headgasket. my head was studded and was holding 50psi for almost a year before I put the box on
it will find the weakest link Good Bye!
We should start a tally of Adrenaline wasted parts

I think we'd run out of a bandwith for that one...
I had an idea on my way into work this morning. It may be a have your cake and eat it too sorta situation, but what about a warm up mode ALSO based on transmission temperature? Obviously not everyone will be using this feature or would even want to, but I noticed driving into work this morning my transmission was still REAL sluggish even though the needle had to be showing 160-170 degrees for the coolant.
Just an idea....
