Yea, I'm aware but to be honest if that's what it comes down to than I'd rather have a different box to begin with. Don't get me wrong, I'm not bad mouthing quad and I don't expect there to be any issues but if my warranty gets voided because I loosened two screws to see what almost set my truck on fire than something ain't right to begin with.

(12:36am, Sat)....Also I just spent the last 2.5 hours re-doing the ADR1000-ADR1025 updates. I am thinking they might go up tomorrow ...... and the software versions should be 20080215 on all of the updates.
First, these particular updates will be Vista compatible. Second, they have a de-bugging mode built into the update. If you get an error or have issues when you try to update it, you will great an error log called QZError.log on your desktop. If you get that you can email it to me and we will try and solve your problem. Email address is quad@quadzillapower.com
Now,the other thing is that anyone of you having wierd warm up or flashing issues with the control pod, try the various updates that have warm up enabled on them. See if they still act funky. If they do report it to me by update number.

Sorry if I came off snappy/rude with my earlier post, but it was late and I had just got home from a long work day at my camp and a 3 hour drive.
The box is packaged up and getting shipped back to Quad during lunch. Spoke to Justin a little while ago and everything should be resolved in the next day or two, and hopefully I'll have my box back by the end of week?! Now that's customer service! Haven't even experienced transmission-shredding horsepower yet, and I'm already thankful I went with a Quad box. Feel free to continue your beta discussions
Sorry again Hink...

tried new ADR1005 (2/18).
-No error message on download.
-Warmed up to 170* and flashing stopped.
Parked for lunch, with pod on PL00.
On startup.... after 2 min engine pitch changed, rpm bounced up to 900 and then settled back down to idle! No High speed idle?
Note: I do have a DEI remote start unit on my Dodge. Did not use it for this test but any chance it is comfusing the Adrenaline??

Tried ADR1003 (2/18). That's Production w/ high Idle only. Same results (PL00). After 2 min, idle changes pitch and tried to climb but won't. As soon as I hit the brake.... idle returns to normal sound and rpm!
Must be something on my truck. Anyone else get this problem?
I don't need flashing warmup or turbo timer, and I don't want mandatory EGT controls... but the high idle could come in real handy.
Guess I'm back to ADR1000 for a while, till the comp tune get civilized.
Quad, Any of your people going to run a booth at the big pulling event in Alvarado, this coming Sat? Would love someone to check out what's happening for me.

Until they stop stop? I don't think mine ever stop, but I stopped paying attention long ago. Only time I know they're never on is when its about 15 or 20 or so...

Same here but my high idle ends up around 1150rpm which is still fine. It's solid as a rock there... The only bad part of this all is I will have my 3rd gen by the time phase three comes out...

When you first start your engine in the morning, you will hear the clicking sound of the grids cycling. The rpms will go up/down when they cycle, after it stops doing this, my high idle engages.

I don't know how long you let it sit with the high idle on, but when I start my truck cold, with the grid heaters cycling and the defrost on, I'm gonna guess it takes about 3-4 minutes for it to get up to 1200rpm. Again, the 3-4 minutes is just a guesstimate, maybe a little less than that. When I start it, after about 30-45 sec. it will ramp up to about 900rpm and slowly make it's way up to 1200 within a few minutes with everything cycling. After it hits 1200 it purrs like a kitten on high idle. Maybe ur not lettin it sit long enough with the high idle on, IDK. Just maybe sumthin to try if you haven't already.
