A nice feature would be kind of an ala carte menu on the update website so you could just check what you want. kind of make your own files i guess. Any word when the commander will be ready? im also curious about the stage 3 that was mentioned

A question on the install that someone on here may or may not know the answer to. I'm finishing up my install and hooking up the two red power wires. First, but fairly insignificant is the long red wire with a white tracer has no tracer. Still goes to #9, right? Also, the short wire doesn't have a mini-fuse tap, it has a ring terminal. Is it safe to install the under-hood power to the battery, or should I find a way to tap into the #15 fuse (which is also confusing, since my underhood fuses aren't numbered?).

The long red wire still goes to #9. Ya my harness had the ring terminal on it as well! i cut it off and crimped on connector so i could use a mini fuse tap! you probly want it to be fused. i dont think it matters which one of those top two fuses you use they are the headlight fuses. mine wasnt labeled either

Bjans,
Got everything wired up per instructions and what you mentioned, but the display for the adrenaline does not light up. Have not driven it to see if the power part of the chip itself is working. Apparently my oil pressure gauge JUST stopped working as well.
Anyone have any ideas?

Double check the fuse tap under the hood. If you used the supplied tap (very tight fit) it's probably not making contact. I just chucked the tap and ran the wire along side the fuse prong.

That's actually how it is right now. It's on the non-fused side, and the headlights both work so I gotta assume its getting power. Any harm in connecting it straight to the battery for the sake of testing?

I'm now running ADR1004...no warm-up mode, no flashing on PL00 during what should be warm-up, no high idle...the control pod flashes on all power levels at all times except PL00...there is also some shudder/surging during WOT on or around PL03-04...

Well, my oil pressure gauge starts working again as soon as I unhook the fuse on #9. It's getting power constantly I believe, and when it IS hooked up and the truck is off with no keys in it every needle on my dash cycles left to right.
Weird, eh?

OK, first lets get the install thing straight!
We put the ring terminal on for the under hood power connection based on beta tester recommendations. So just plug it into the battery. Don't worry about a fuse, everything is internally fused to begin with!
Second, you have to make certain the fuse tap on #9 is in good. If not it can make some wierd things happen.
Just for the record, I hate fuse taps and I have not ever found one I really like but, I have not found a better solution yet.

As soon as I can put a finger on the warmup issue we will recompile the updates to be vista compatible. Probably sometime at the beginning of the week.
I also have 1/2 a mind to redo all of them to see if there was just a bug in the compiler for some reason when we made them??? Not sure what I am going to do.
It seems like only some trucks have the flashing issue and the rest are perfect???
