My shutdown issue appear to be related to the warm-up software...and I've got a new box...

List of available downloads is impressive, I will have to give a few of them a try within the next few days. Great job Quad!

I'm in the same boat as you Rowland. Pretty excited for the return of the box with all the optional tunes!
Pick and Choose! Pretty cool!

I downloaded the ADR2009 file. Which was the aggressive tune with the 140 warm up,high idle, and 3 minute TT. TT worked on the dot. Warm up works as advertised. All power levels work with no stumble, nor any jumping of any kind. And she sure rips on PL10.

Only thing I am having issues with is the High Idle. Still will only hit 1000 RPM & EGTs show about 330 degrees at their highest. If you need me to do anything or you need more info please let me know Quad.

I have had this with some of the XZT+ boxes. If the grid heaters are cycling or the A/C or something is cycling the high idle will not be able to go all the way up as the ECM keeps it pulled down. Once they cycle up it should climb up to 1200rpms.

Sort of a weird anomoly but, you can only fight the ECM so much in some scenarios.

Quad, got to tow the skidsteer today, this box is awesome. I think it is ready to go. You were right about the high idle. It worked great all day today. Thanks

I don't know how long you let it sit with the high idle on, but when I start my truck cold, with the grid heaters cycling and the defrost on, I'm gonna guess it takes about 3-4 minutes for it to get up to 1200rpm. Again, the 3-4 minutes is just a guesstimate, maybe a little less than that. When I start it, after about 30-45 sec. it will ramp up to about 900rpm and slowly make it's way up to 1200 within a few minutes with everything cycling. After it hits 1200 it purrs like a kitten on high idle. Maybe ur not lettin it sit long enough with the high idle on, IDK. Just my sumthin to try if you haven't already.

Well it sat for the entire run of my remote start (15 minutes) but it has been pretty **** cold here so I'm gonna go out and try it right now and see where it goes and if the grid heaters are actually cycling. AC and Heater will be off to see where it sits at. I'm also wondering if the High Idle feature from the factory is causing issues.

Hey Quad...since it seems to be the warm up feature giving me problems do you think I should try a tune without that feature or do you have any other ideas?

**** Quad you must have a lot of time on these things,as soon as the grid heaters stopped cycling, like clock work went right to 1200. Flawless. Can't say enough good about your support of the 2nd gen crowd. I can guarantee I'm in for the final 2 phases. Anything you need as far as testing please do not hesitate to ask.
