Quad Adrenaline Beta Testing....

It a transmission protection system (automatics only) that causes defueling if too much torque is sensed by the PCM (?) when the truck is not rolling.
Causes a real headache for higher HP trucks if trying to build boost/power from a standing start.

It shure does. I tried a smarty but it definetley didnt keep the TQ management when put back to stock. I may try to get my hands on another though if the new updates will leave it in.

Hook up your RAD already! Cut it!
I really want to Mike but I dont wanna kill the output shaft It would be way too tempting. Plus I may be trying to get one of these if it will eliminate the tq managment for me.

I'm with Mike. Hook up the RAD. Though I have complete faith in Quad, I do know at this time the only thing that COMPLETELY eliminates the torque management on a 01 and 02 is a RAD. Some things like a Smarty and a Redline will reduce it, but they do not eliminate it.
Just to make sure everyone knows, when a RAD is turned on some or most of the factory gauges will not work. This isn't a problem for me, as I'm to busy to be looking at guages anyway. With the newer RADs you can turn it back off after the 2-3 shift and the gauges will then work, and the factory top speed limiter will still be over ridden (another benefit of the RAD). Problem is, I never think to do it. Rip is always asking me what my EGT's, boost, and shift rpm is. I might be able to remember to look at one of those...

Beta testing is not over. I would say we are getting closer but, we have a couple of things to solve.
I have been out of town and I expect to have an update out for the beta testers pretty quickly to address some of the quirks we are having.
I have not had time to go through all I have missed on this thread but, I will in the evening.
I would say that right after the first of the year is a more accurate release date.

I have a number of questions. I finally tapped my wire today. All excited, I took it for a drive. There did not seem to be a difference between PL02 and PL03+. I had the Beta V3 tune in. When I parked, I looked over the tap again, which is soldered, and everything seemed fine. Took it for another drive. Still no difference. I went to the Quadzilla website and downloaded what is called the "factory" tune. I drove home with this and my clutch hated me. I had all sorts of power. Now, I just loaded the Beta V3 tune back in and once again there is no change in power. Any ideas? I would also like to diagnois the problem with the tt not shutting off with the brake pedal. How does it work? It would not shut off on either program. Thank you for all the help ahead of time.
