Quad Adrenaline Beta Testing....

I can't really do a test run with the RAD off. At least not with a boosted launch. At the power level I am at, when it does the torque management defuel it will buck so hard, it feels like it's going to break something. I will try it with a grandma start and see what happens.

Oh, I wanted to add... I like the fact that PL10 is for all out, and you better have the supporting mods to run it, type of power level. To many of the other boxes don't push the upper levels right to the edge. Thanks Quad.

Quad,
I have no problem reving to 4000 rpm with my set up. When I am at the track shifting a stick shift and the truck use to defuel at 3200, I could not shift fast enough and I would lose time. I had a Edge Comp and Catcher first, defueled hard at 3200 rpm. I changed to a TST Comp and Smarty. I have no noticeable defueling like the Edge box.
My question is will the Adrenaline allow me to fuel/rev to 4000 rpm? I have all the needed parts installed. Thanks, Sam.

Quad,
I tried the ADR2000 tune today, for some reason it doesn't hit as hard as the RowJ tune that I had previously. I am only hitting 45psi boost where the RowJ was showing 52lbs. It smokes alot more too. I'm gonna load the RowJ back in tonight & give it a try tomorrow to make sure that it isn't something wrong with the truck.

Quad, I got the stutter thing figured out.
On PL 10, I can get it to happen as low as 2000 rpm.
On PL5, it doesn't happen till 2700 rpm.
On PL4, I can hear a slight stutter but not really feel it.
On PL3, there is no stutter.
I can get this to happen in 3rd gear 2500 RPM 35 mph, 5-11 psi boost. Give it a little more throttle and it goes away.
I believe that you are absolutely correct, it fuels a little too much before there is sufficient boost to burn the fuel.
For me, PL5 is the highest streetable power level with the new aggressive tunes. PL 6 on up gets progressively more wicked and violent without boost to burn the fuel.
Quad this is perfect for me, I rarely use above level 3 for daily driving, and the top levels are great for a race/comp setting.

Finally got the new pulse update in, got through most of the options and the only thing not working for me is the corrected vehicle speed, and i noticed the high idle didn't want to kick off when i hit the brake, but did with the gas. I liked the added icons makes it a little easier when setting up the displays. I got a few miles in on the new ADR2000 tune, definitely better fueling on the top of the rpm range.

I didn't want to mention this yesterday, because it's almost to good to be true, but the surge I've always had with the Adrenaline is gone with the files that are currently out. The power seems to be the same as before (same boost and EGTs), but I will know for sure tomorrow night. Three days of racing this weekend. I am very happy with this file! Power comes in earlier and smoother then before. Quad, don't let anyone talk you into changing it!
Follow up on the Pulse performance testing. As soon as I turn on the RAD, the Pulse reads the mph as 53. Turn it back off and it reads the current mph. The odd thing is that the trucks speedometer works correctly when the RAD is on. The trucks tach doesn't work, but the Pulse will show rpm. The trucks tach shows mph, but the Pulse doesn't (always shows 53mph). Everything is normal with the RAD off. I'm guessing that the speedometer picks up the mph from a different source then the Pulse? Doing performance tests without using the RAD doesn't do me any good, though. Not important to me, just some feedback.

The new file seems fine on driveability to me. I didn't run it hard yesteday, but it felt smooth and powerful....no Smarty needed for the low end power. I did turn it up to 4 with no issues.
I really like the new update on the Pulse as I can now adjust it properly.....some of that is because Justin gave me a brief tutorial on Friday which really helped. I was screwing up right at the beginning making everything downstream crap....lol....
Anyway, I am able to make adjustments on the Pulse now and will update any challenges I see. I set the fueling delay and turbo timer when I arrived home. Next drive I'll see if they are working properly. This monitor has so many features that is very exciting to experience it's complete capabilities. Nice work so far!

e.g. Leave your truck on PL00 when you go to shut it off. After 1 min the truck hits high idle and holds 1200rpm and keeps your truck at 400*
When will the EGT's hit 300 on PL00 so that it can shut itself down? Probably never.
I could be totally off base, but I think about 40 pages back Quad had mentioned something about this.
