Well, another update.

We found an error in the software that is only allowing us about 75% of our fueling capabilities. Not sure how it happened but, the good news is there should be a lot more fuel available tomorrow!

The funny thing is that the guys dynoing and drag racing have had pretty good results. These should only get better now.

Look for the updates tomorrow after lunch.

Sorry!!!

Did this affect the first 'RowJ' tune as well?

Do you have a de-fueling tune installed? Realize that even though it is set at 1250 or 1150 we will start de-fueling earlier than those numbers in order to stop any overshooting that might occur. On a stock truck we can do this pretty easily but, as you add injectors and other mods it gets harder and harder. Our #1 priority is to make certain we do not overshoot, so sometimes we pull the trigger a little early to keep the engine safe. As you saw we did not just back all the way down or anything but, just enough to put the EGT's in check and keep them from hurting anything.
EGT de-fueling is the only thing that I have set. My Pulse will start flashing at around 8-900 degrees on mine. I just thought it was a quirk and was just waiting for the next upgrade to see if that fixed it.
Soooo, if I'm reading u correctly, it may actually start de-fueling at 8-900 so it can manintain the max of 1250. Is that correct?? or do I just have a quirk in my Pulse??

New update tonite..........Yeah!!!!!!!!!
Having to remove the Pulse again.............

Yes. Unfortunately, the good news is that these trucks should really run good now!

There is no quirk. It can start de-fueling quickly especially if you hammer it from a stop or do something to make the egts go from something like 300-800 really fast. It sees the rate of rise and realizes that if it does not start to do something it will never stop it at 1250. Most of the time it is in tiny amounts. You can set one parameter to Backdown% and watch it, it only makes small adjustments and that is why it is so smooth and does no just take tons of power away all the sudden.

See if this new update helps you. It could be doing that because we were short on fueling???

Giddy up!

EGT is the only defueling feature set, but sometime tomorrow the truck should be seeing more boost so I can't wait to see what it does. I can already punch it at 70 and watch my rpms spike 600rpms and the speedo about 2mph

Time to swap tranny's I 'spose...

You can set one parameter to Backdown% and watch it
I started doing that this weekend. On a "hammer down" from dead stop, I had about 89% backdown , and a "roll into it" run from dead stop was like 7% backdown. I kinda figured it was workin right by watchin the backdown % but I wasn't sure and I was to lazy to e-mail you about it.

Thank you for clearin that up for me.

You're gong to have to take a laptop out to the truck to update it or unplug from the harness and pull through the firewall and bring inside. It has a usb port on the bottom of the display.
