ya its not very fun to drive stock im getting turbo and injectors in a few months. im hoping my box wont be out to soon i would like to get it back before my trans is finished being built.

well just received my box back from quad and all seems to be working well.the box seems like it fuels harder with the same tune in it. but over all customer service with Quad was fast and on point. Thumps up to Quad.

Well yesterday all was good with the box and today while driving it wasn't fueling normal again. So thinking there is another problem. Anyone have any suggestions what to look for.

Mine is headed back to quad it was still doing the samething and it stuck on someway and would not let the truck shut down. I had to unplug the box to shut it off.

that def sounds like aprogramming issue, i contacted quad again yesterday and talked to jeremy and i was told to put in my first 2k tune i had in the truck since day 1. so i did that and so far yesterday and today have been good no issues. whenever i load a new tune in there i have problems odd i know right?

The 2k tunes did it the worst on mine funny how it is so random that it will take a while to figure out it is doing it. Seems like when you really want the power it is not there. It really bugged me that it would not shut off I was on vacation and about a 100 miles before that my clutch master broke at a stop light and I had to shut the truck down to get stopped. If it would not of shut down then I don't know what I would have done. I guess stand on the brakes and hope it will kill the motor. Mine had just come back from being updated when it done this. When it did this I had to shut down the truck by unplugging the quad and then it worked fine on the way home.

Jturs what's your mileage like seems like mine should do a little better than it does I had a ts mvp before the quad and would get in the low 20's empty and 13 towing but with the quad it only gets 18 empty and 11 towing. I thought maybe this might be a clue to what is wrong with some of these.

Yea I hear that but when it works it is amazing if they just get these issues worked out.

Ok I know I have sent them numerous e-mails and they have never responded. This is the reason I might just go with a smarty.

my mileage is somewhere around 20 unloaded on highway cause i drive 85mph everywhere but if i just cruise i can get around 22mpg, and in city i will get around 17mpg if i drive normal as well.

on another note thats weird that they arnt responding to your emails my customer service i had with them was great.

back to the tuner though my has been fine for a few days now ever since i put my old old 2k tune i had in my computer back in it from 2008 haha. it all started when i put a new 2k tune in it to get rid of the old surging problem at cruising speed and thats when everything started. but i must agree when it does work it works amazing!!

Man first time I e-mailed them, I got 2 replies within 24 hours, from 2 different people. They have been there for me for every e-mail before, during, and even with questions after the sale. Really helpful every time for me. They are human though, maybe your e-mail got caught up in the shuffle. They must go threw thousands a week.
