Pyro Temp...
I have heard that 1300 deg. Pre Turbo is the max safe temperature. When doing quick acceleration does it hurt anything for the Temps. to jump up to around 1600 degrees if they are only there for 5 or 6 seconds?

Well, during short runs up to highway speed I have looked down and seen the temps around 1500-1600 many times and just assumed it wasn't hot long enough to hurt anything. Hope I haven't been hurting anything.
