Pyro sensor depth

The pyro sensor I got is going to hit the bottom of the manifold cause the compression fitting is already crimped. Got a new compression fitting . How far are you guys extending your probs into the manifold?

Think I will go about 1/4 of the total depth of the inside of the manifold on my '99

IIRC it is supposed to be from .3 to .7" into the open air of the manifold. I thought my ISSPRO was a little slow so I dropped it in another .25" to see if it'll help or not.

My Westach called for the middle of the exhaust flow. I used some plastic tubing as a gauge to make sure I was dead nuts.
