just got my fass 2 ,looks like a quality kit, good time to replace the batterys since the fass hooks up directly to them and i,m going to run the edge comp ground straight to the battery..whats the 4" exhaust worth in hp alone???

Local muffler guy tack welds the joints when using stainless band clamps. He says the pipes will rotate on the joints. If you want to change something it is easy to grind the tack weld. I also paint the pipe with anti-seize at the slip joints and under the band clamp.
If using guillotine or saddle clamps you don't need to weld.
One of the hot rod shows on the Speed Channel did a dyno before and after a larger exhaust system. The peak hp didn't change, but the curve did lift by 10-15 hp in other rpm bands.
