Pusher Pumps
I am still considering how to protect my self from another dead lift pump, and I have been considering putting in a pusher pump other than the expensive air dog and or fass.
Can I just put in the carter or whatever I decide to go with and wire it to the harness of the current lift pump?
I know that there is not supposed to be pressure upon startup, just a shot to get fuel up to the injector pump. Then it stops running untill the engine is running.
What wiring method should I use???

I used the stock harness to excite a relay for my pusher...I learned that this can still shut down if your stocker goes to short in the motor. I reccomend using any source that is ignition controled some have used the afc relay in the pdc to excite it others have used a hobbs switch, if you have gauges you can use a set up like mine but I would absolutly not just splice into the factory harness as your supply you will burn the relay down at the worst possible time, I myself reccemond the afc or similar for a relay exciter.
