ive got a question if you could answer for me...

say someones VP-44 gives up the ghost and the wire wasnt tapped, but it was turned up via the front cover...

How long are the codes stored,or is it possible to take the codes out of the ECM before taking the truck to the ***********?

Is it possible to fool the dealership by getting rid of the codes and fueling parameters?

or would it be possible to use someone elses computer that is "stock" and bolt it inplace of the "heavily bombed" truck???

I've got one. Very nice unit. I wish it was a different color than white plastic. Maybe once I get my tranny and get ready to put it back on, I'll paint it black or blue. :
