Pump Calibration

does any know what this involves or if it does anything...a guy a i met says he can have it done for 500 n that includes taking the pump off and puting it bakc on when its finished

I know it cost me a bunch more than that @ NW fuel injection for mine........ and I took the pump to them.
Sounds pretty cheap

Is the calibrating even worth it? i mean it sounds like a good deal for it being taken off calibrated and then put back on at a cummins dealer
