sorry thats what i meant BAR and ya they are a little low so we'll see what the new injectors can do and hopefully clear the miss up. New Era's new set of 435s are set at a 280 bar now so they are suppose to idle better may it wont smoke all the time now

Alright everyone get ready to stone me for my stupidity soooooooo, i got new 435s since is was so sure they were the issue, add i relapped all the valves in the head extra good, put it all back to gether, started it up............ and i was like what the #$%@ AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!! it still was missing/runnig funny. The next day i decide to check my itching suspicion and check my first barrel on the injection pump. Why you might ask, because i had started to adjust them when i very first pulled the head( i was gonna try to get a little more fuel outa them) i only moved the first one, then decided not to and put it back according to the pait marks on the pump. but i guess i was a little off, cause when i adjusted it with motor running yesterday i fixed the rough idle and no more wierd missing sounds!!! lesson learned thanks for everyones help though, much appreciated.

To me head gaskets aren't a big deal so I don't sweat that one. Next time, I just buy a better torque wrench and stop being so cheap skate. Hopefully you get fixed up so you can see how well those 435 sticks work for you. Where did you get them? They work good? I got good at replacing head gaskets this summer

Hey mike, well i've had the 435s for awhile already and so far i've got random results(which could be from alot of things) i've ranged from 13mpg highway to 21mpg adn from 13mpg-17 to 18ishmpg intown, and from 10mpg-19mpg towing a trailer!! but they make really good power and i probably need twins to clean up the smoke.
