Propane Injection
How many people use propane in their 24valves? Do you have to buy the 900$ kit? How much better is the fuel economy and how long does the propane last, besides how big the tank is? Thanks, HecTiK.

You can easily make plenty of fuel with our truck IMO you would be better off investing in a turbo and a box. A lot of the ford guys use propane to help get more fuel into the motor

Been running propane close to ten years, absolutely love it. With my setup I get around 1000 miles with ten gallons of propane if I'm towing and bout 1500 just daily driving. I recently put a water\meth system on my 95 and cant say that I like it at all, in my opinion propane is the way to go.

Depending on how I drive it the mileage varies, but generally when I'm towing with propane I get right at 14mpg (that's highway speeds, no babying it) When empty it gets 18-20 mpg with propane.

i have a propane injection setup i designed on my dodge,
the only problem i see is regulating the amount of propane being injected, if you inject too much, all it does is use propane with no noticeable improvements......
on a recent trip of 2500 miles pulling my fifth wheel i used about 50 gallons of propane. my normal fuel consumption without propane was around 9 mpg. with i got 9.5 to 10.
i have since regulated the amount to about 1/2 of what i had, now i'm useing less propane and getter better mileage(around 20 empty). but i haven't pulled the trailer since i changed it....

I used to run LPG when I used the truck for towing and with the EEETEE Digital system I was getting 22-27 mpg(empty) ( NO B.S.) and was mixing approx 1-1.6 liters of LPG to 10 Litres of #2. It's an awesome system to run on mild trucks less than 400 whp, above that start buying head gaskets by bulk.
