Just put it on. It run one day,without FP guage, next day it won't start. Today I got the FP guage working. Was bleeding injectors and first cycle of pump showed 18#. Then it went to 1-2# for the next 5 or more cycles. Pulled suction line of tank and put in a 5 gal. bucket of diesel. Same results. Took line loose at vp44 and put in a 1/2 gal bucket. It barley filled it in 30sec cycle with not much pressure.

 

They have had some isues with the regulator spring and the steel ball used to control the preasure,mine fell out when I pulled the packing plugs out of the pump.I would send it back.For the money they charge you would think they would have btter qaulity control.They pump is a good design,bilt strong and it does do a good job.

 

I called the dealer I bought if from 4 or 5 times. Each time they were as helpfull as you can be trying to diagnose a problem over the phone.. I finally figured out 2 problems , one it was sucking air and after I fixed that it was airlocked. Working great now, 21# and I can't pull it down, but I'm stock right now. thanks
