While I am searching the archives, I thought I would ask the question here first. I have never had my wastegate open until I installed an AFE Mega Cannon (air filter) Now it will operate on decel after a hard push. I think this is a good thing. The problem I am having now is when I am pulling through the hills/mountains while towing very heavy and at the most inopertune times, The wastegate will open, boost gauge goes bananas and I obviously lose the necessary power to pull. Has anyone experienced this? Is there a fix? Is my wastegate going bad? All of my upgrades are in my sig line except for the AFE. The wastegate will open anywhere between 20 & 30 lbs of boost. But it will not do it while not towing.

Any help would be appreciated.
