Precleaner for 12v
I was on my one tractor the other day and I noticed the "precleaner" on it. It is a thing that sits on top of the intake tube and "precleans" the air before it goes in the actual air filter and to the engine. I started thinking then. Do you think it would be possible for me to run my intake hose under the truck, similar to the stack, and up through the bed to a precleaner? Here is the site that has some on it.?Precleaners Im lookin at the "Turbo II" What is the CFM for the 12v? Intake size?

I think it would be possible but is your truck getting in as much dust as a tractor?
I know there's times when I'm on a tractor when I can't see 10 feet though the dust.
You'd have to watch out for low spots running a long hose, dust may tend to settle in them.

Yes and No. I am in dusty places sometimes, but not always. I would be for looks as well I dont know if dust would really e too much of a problem, seeing that it is supposed to take it out. Plus, I think that I will keep the stock air filter on it, and run it through that way. Cause I still want it to run through some sort of filter before the turbo / engine. Any ideas? Does anyone have some pics of a stock air cleaner? Underneath the truck pics too?

Yeah, I considered the restrictions that it may cause. But do you think it would be that much? I mean it isnt that much on a tractor, just a longer tube? right? I guess that it might make it run a little hotter, since it has to work more for the air intake. I'll keep you posted.
