Kinda makes me wonder about a car cover for the truck...all the way to the ground to keep the cold air out. Our 1100lb piece of cast iron should hold heat for a while...and the cover could also keep the junk off the windshield and shiny paint.

They're actually bigger than that, it was a UPS for our phone switch at work. They're physically larger than the batteries in my truck. I just went out and checked, they're labelled as 100 amp/hrs.

Truck starts fine, but I like to be warm, and with only a five mile drive home it normally doesn't warm up enough to make much heat before I get there.

How many volts are those babies? I'd probably need a step-down transformer or something. I have been trying to get the head of facilities to wire me in an outlet down there, but I haven't succeeded yet. There's power everywhere; if I wasn't afraid they'd get me on a surveillance camera I'd wire into it myself.

I invested in an Espar. Just need to make sure the batteries are fully charged by either running the truck or a couple hours on the charger. I have that 2 mile to work problem...
