Power for amps into cab

Power for amps into cab
For those of you who have done this (and those who have not and know) where would the best place be to get a power cable into the rear of the (club) cab to power some amps? any existing holes, or will I have to make one?

I thought about that, but I am looking to get power to the back of the cab, under the rear seats... thought about going through a gromet on the firewall, under the channel by the door and around that way, wondering if theres a way to go through the floor or back of the cab...

I think I'll probably go ahead and do that...... but now it feels like its going to snow again and I have kitchen cabinets stacked up in the garage.... maybe tomorrow..... it was 60+ degrees today.....

I ran my 1/0 down the frame to the back of the cab where I found a spot under the rear seat mount bracket to drill a hole. I used a 3/4" nylon thru-hull fitting for a boat to protect the cable from chafing and siliconed it up( the 1/0 was a fairly snug fit)

definately read this thread before you start wireing up your system: http://forum.sounddomain.com/ubb/ult...c;f=5;t=008251
on my 2nd gen. I was able to get the 0 gauge through the main grommet in the firewall, just be careful not to destroy any of the other wires in there. On my new truck I just drilled a new hole, passed the wire through and siliconed it up.
