Pop testing injectors

Pop testing injectors
Quick question. I just got some jammers, yeah I know I should have got some machs. They'll come later. Anyways I know I should have them pop tested. Well a very reputable diesel injection shop here can pop test and balance if needed, but they have to send them out to their other facility. So looking at about 1 week turn around time. Can't do that. Found someone local that will just pop test only, they don't or can't balance. Turn around time 30 min. I can do that!! Well is there a point to pop them if I can't balance them? All I will see is which one(s) are lower or higher. If there is a problem I'm stuck. Or do I just say screw it an put them in. I know people do just stick them in and don't have problems but I'm a tech and I know what I should do........Any ideas?

I think I would go ahead and have them pop tested. That way you will know. You sound lik the kind of guy that will always wonder. I know I would. That way you will (hopefully) find out that they are all good. And maybe if one is bad you can decide how to deal with it then.

I guess I could, and then stick them in and them get them balanced when I find someone. Does anyone know how to balance them yourself?? I found equipment to pop test them. Not too difficult there. Just don't know how the innerds work in those little guys.
