Exclamation Poll: Quadzilla satisfaction

Tsutter issued a challenge for someone to post a poll about customer satisfaction with Quadzilla Power. So, I'm accepting the challenge. In the spirit of stupid phone polls, are you very satisfied, satisfied, unsatisfied or very unsatisfied with the performance and/or customer service regarding Quadzilla products?

I started this poll so I'll vote first. I'm satisfied in that, as I've had issues, Quadzilla has attempted to get them corrected. I'm not completely satisfied with all the functions of my Commander but I fully expect that I will become completely satisfied as Quadzilla works on correcting the minor complaints. What are they? Fuel pressure erratic and low, buttons hard to depress, coolant temp somewhat erratic.

Things I like:

1) wide range of parameters monitored w/programmable warnings
2) Spot-on pyrometer readings
3) Fuel pressure monitoring (when it's fully fixed)
4) Compatibility with a wide range of programmers/controllers

Things I hope to see in the near future:

1) "boost bolt," or mechanical-to-electronic boost converter rather than relying on unreliable, older 2nd gen MAP sensors
2) Cool-down timer

Quad, thanks for your hard work in both R&D and customer service.

You threw a party, and nobody came, I'm trying to decide why nobody voted about their Quad products, is that a good sign, or a bad sign.
I bet if you do a Smarty poll, you will get some answers...

Would be interesting if you get some results I had my heart set on geting one of their modules until I talked to a local shop who had carried them for 6 months and had a 100% failure rate according to him he no longer sells them but offered me one that he has left for dirt cheap, but I decided against it. Maybe things have gotten better I know this was when they were first around

I just ordered a Commander, so I'll let you know once I get it installed.

I'm happy with my Quadzilla box. It would be nice if it would fuel a little harder off idle. Customer service was good, knowledge about 2nd gen trucks was ok. I think they are geared more toward the 3rd gen trucks. The person I was talking to about "boost fooling" and pump wire taping wasn't quite sure about it. I when I'm ready for a bigger box I'll most likely buy another Quadzilla.

Wow,

They either like us or really hate us! Not that it matters but next time you do a poll if you make it show who voted the poll might be more accurate as then people have to own up to their decision!

I'll keep that in mind, Quad. This is the first poll I've ever posted so it was kinda new to me, wasn't sure which options to select. I guess I just got a little hacked off at Tsutter fellow. Everyone's got a right to his opinion about a product or service he's paid for but some of his comments were out of line and I was sure that most others would likely be satisfied with your products and/or customer service.

Quad, thanks for your hard work in both R&D and customer service.

i would like to know more about your erratic fuel psi. i ve already replaced 1lp with commander saying it was low, which i think it was cause when i put a new one it went up. now this lp is only a couple of months old and its saying its bad again, sometimes.
my buttons also sucked at first they are a little better now.

BTW i am very happy with Quadzilla customer service! i would buy again.

Hey Dieselfan,

Did you see the thread on Quad replacing the fuel sensors under warranty? I just did mine and the problem is GONE!! BTW, I am very satisfied with Quadzilla.

dieselfan,

It'll be a few weeks before I'll be able to answer on the fuel pressure question. I've opted to wait until the 0-40 psi sending units become available. In the meantime, however, I HAVE noticed a little more consistency out of my Commander. Now, it mostly varies between 9-11 @ idle and 6-8 while driving. These pressures really are a little low for my liking but they're taken after-filter so I expect a little pressure drop vs. pre-filter. I'm satisfied that the Commander is giving me as accurate a reading as the current sending unit is allowing it to so I'll wait to decide if I REALLY need a new LP until the updated sending unit arrives. I'll definitely let everyone know how it goes when I put it on.
