Plugging the wastegate...????
What will this do? Let it build boost constantly? I'm not quite sure. I've heard of people doing this...some say good....some say bad.....I don't know....and was wondering what it would do or what it's supposed to do.
Thanks,

Plugging the wastegate will allow the turbo to build more boost at high RPM. It does not make the turbo build boost faster. On a truck with no fueling mods it's not going to do anything positive. On a truck with extra fuel it can overspeed the turbo. You don't want any more boost than the engine needs to burn the fuel, extra boost is just wasted power. If you need more boost than the stock wastegate control will allow, get a boost elbow or a Turbomaster. This keeps the wastegate functional but at a higher pressure.
