Plow for dually

Looking for a plow for my dually. Strictly for personal use....my driveway and long private street. Any brand work better than the other. I have the sport. So there is the front bumper thats probably got to get notched.

I like myers because they are so simple. Whatever you get if it is used make sure that there is a dealer for it near buy. I am not sure if you will have to notch the bumper. A disadvantage of the older meyers is that the plow and pump come off separatly, they have changed this since 2002

Fisher! You'll need the 9 footer to clear the rear tires on full angle. Next I would get an EZ mount Classic with a C-8.5 or C-9 blade. The abilility to take the plow and pump frame off seperately is a good thing! trust me on that!

I just bought a Boss 8ft with a poly blade as fast as I can drive into the plow hook up two connectors and press a button is how fast it connects or disconnects. I have only used it a couple times and love it.

Boss or fisher are my two favorites. Cant go wrong with either of them. I know my family has always plowed with fishers our last plow was over 10 years old and had yet to break one part and maintance was lackin on the plow oil changes every 2-3 years ect. you really cant kill a fisher.

I love my Blizzard plow, push a button & the plow goes from 8' to 11'. They are pricey, but you get what you pay for. Just drive up to it, plug it in, hit a button & it installs itself on the truck.

i have a fisher and they are real nice for pavement or smooth frozen dirt. but i have found that when you need to plow rough areas the style that the whole plow trips is alot smoother. but i have had a fisher since 1999 and last year i finaly had to weld a crack up on it.

you will want somthing at least 8'6 for the duals, i have an 8'6 with the wings on it. if i were to do it again, i would look into the poly. the weight really puts a hurting on the already flawed dodge front end. other things thats nice about poly, wont rust. i dont care what plow you have, if they use alkt by you, the powder coat will come off.
