With just the plate i dont think you'll hit 40psi, somewhere between 30 -34 is where you want to be anyway. On the back of the afc you took off to do the plate, its the hose that goes to the turbo.

Not always...it will either be where you say, or coming out of the compressor housing of the charger going directly to the wastegate actuator

Make sure to smooth that plate out after you get done grinding

Keep it down to 36psi Max. Over that is just super heating the air and you are not gaining anything.

in my gallery is a picture of any plate you might need! also make 100% sure while the plate sits in there, you pull up the fuel shut off solenoid and move the throttle linkage forward, and look at where the governor arm will hit the plate... it should hit the bottom of the plate.
JUST NOT RIDE UNDER THE PLATE! If it does ride under, then you dont get the power gain the plate is supposed to give you. To make that right, you'll need to adjust the governor arm, or have a longer j hook on the bottom of the plate

BTW. Are you german? or have german ancestors? Your last name sounds like a teacher's I had in the german school i went to...
