I haven't tried them, but all the tire shops I talk to say 45-50,000 miles.
I too, have the 16x8 wheels. I think the M-55's were 235/75-16. Too narrow for my wheel.

TIRE RECALLS
Yep. I had 18k miles on my last set of Coursers when they were recalled. didnt hurt my feelings at all. All 4 replaced, balanced, and mounted for free.

Not to hijack this thread (hey maybe this info would help anyway?) but...

What is a good price to pay? I'd been told $150/tire but have called around and every tire shop is saying prices went up 6-8 months ago. I'm being quoted $230-$245 each + mount/balance.

Ack!

Is there a good online shop to purchase the BFG 315/70/17 AT KO's from? I haven't had any luck searching. I need to order ASAP as I have a buyer lined up for my 265/70/17 stockers.

Thanks in advance,

RT

I bought my tires from Discount Tire. I always haggle with them a little and wind up buying from them at their cheapest price...and try to negotiate in the mount/balance fees etc.

Here is a link to their prices on the BFG TA KO's in various sizes.

I really like dealing with them. In my case there are two different DT stores within a couple of miles of my house. They rotate the tires for free, so I go every 5k miles around the time of my oil change. Hard to beat, IMO, even if they cost a little bit more. Ohhhh.....and free flat repair too.
