If you have an 01', you have no rail and thus no need to try and measure pressure of injection pump. If the injection pump fails to make enough pressure, the injectors cannot inject fuel thus truck would not run. Besides that, you would need six gauges to monitor the IP pressure, just not feasible. Most guys monitor their lift pump pressure to ensure that a healthy lift pump is supplying all the lube, fuel, and cooling that the injection pump needs. Low lift pressure is a signal to either change a plugged filter or if that does not help, change out the weakest link stock lift pump.
