Plate questions

About how much power would a 100 plate add on a 160 pump using a stock turbo? And if I move my plate forward does the govener lever need adjusted? Thanks

You dont need to adjust the governor arm in the 160 pump... just make sure you leave a long ramp on the bottom on the 100 plate, then u can freely move it forward,

id say 80 - 100 HP gain, or close to total 250- 300 hp .... my wild guesses

I don't know that you'd get 80hp out of a 160 pump with a 100 plate. Put in some 181 or 191 delivery valves alond with the plate, and you might get that. A 160 pump doesn't flow anywhere near what a 215 pump will, at least in stock form.

I currently run a 180 pump with 215 injectors and a #10 plate.

What opinion do you guys have on adding a 215 pump into the system with either a 10 or 11 plate.

Basically, I'm asking if it is a worthwhile conversion. I tow a very heavy 40 ft. 5th wheel toy hauler.

Thanks
