Pics of new and old turbo
As soon as the admins approve them, I've got some pics to show the difference in size of the KSB-1 to the HY35 and the HX35. The difference in size is amazing. I never realized how small the HY35 is compared to even the HX35. It's an amazing difference. No wonder my truck used to feel sluggish on the top end. The little HY could barely supply enough air for the truck stock, much less modified. I still can't get over the difference between the HY35's top end and the KSB-1's top end. I went from 75-117mph in 1/4-1/2 mile where as before I couldn't hit 110mph without at least a mile of road. Anyways, enough babbling from me, I'll let the pics do the talking for me. Admins, HURRY UP!!!

I still have the stock HY35, but have access to a HX35. How are the egts after the upgrade to the HX35? And then to the ksb1? Thinking about upgrading...

I never did get to try out the HX35 on my truck. An HX35 should be able to cool your comp off pretty well. Now, you go and add a bigger set of injectors, then skip the HX and go straight to the KSB-1.
2k1yzfr1, 1st gear is better, but not a lot, 2nd gear is where it really takes off like a rocket. Lockup is just plain fun.

Cool pics.
I'm looking for turbo for about the same HP rating as you went with. What other turbos would be good on a AUTO besides the KSB-1 for around 400-450hp? dodgezilla? PDR hx40? Or is the KSB-1 the way to go?

it depends on the amount of fuel you have....if you have just an edge comp the hx-35 would be a good turbo and keep your quick spool up...but if you have injectors with the comp it will be too hot for an hx-35 and will need to go to a larger turbo(ksb-1 for example)
