pics of clear LED's in the bed
i finally got my LED's in the bed & got some pics, they're pending approval in my gallery, lemme know what ya'll think of the ride w/the lights, also I'm gonna be adding clear corner lenses on the front & was thinking of changing the cablights, would you go with clear or the smoked lenses, I really like the smoked better, but all my other lights will be clear, thought the smoked may go along with the black/white theme good enough to still look good, what do ya'll think???? also I've read alot about the chrome peeling off the bases of the clear cablights vs. the black bases of the smoked ones????? I know some have had bad luck with the cablights, but I REALLY like the looks of them, & I figure I'm pretty handy with a tube of silicone!!!!! lemme know what ya'll think??? thanks, Dusty

no lift, it had a leveling kit & 265/75 BFG's when I bought it back, but it looked pretty ridiculous, looked like it was riding a wheelie (especially with a load on it!!! LOL) I like the smaller tires better, wouldn't mind trying a set of 255's next time, if I don't get some 19.5's for it next go round, thinking about ditching the alum. wheels too, I hate polishing aluminum rims with a passion!!!! LOL, Dusty

I was hoping you had used some LED's under the bed rails to light the interior of the bed. Maybe tie them in with the light up by the third brake light or even put them on the own switch. Sure would help to see back there in the dark.

not a bad idea!!! on my flatbed I had all the back up lights on a switch so when I was hookin/unhooking a trailer I could leave them on to see better, thought about putting a headache rack on this one & doing the same thing with the back up lights in it???? kinda liking the headache-less look so far though, maybe l8er on, Dusty

Is that the Recon lights? I wouldn't mind getting a set to replace the amber marker lights, but I like my red ones. And the LEDs vs. the regular bulb might look kind of goofy.

I replaced the cab markers and body lights with LED's.

I get most of my lighting from Lu's Lighthouse but AW Direct is a light junkie's dream.
