Phat Shaft

The PS62 and SPS62 will support up to 550 HP. The difference between the two is in the exhaust housing and wheel, there is a ton of machining and a different wheel that increases spoolup and decreases backpressure. Both are great turbos its just that the SPS62 is more of a better thing

I googled and found where the Super PS 62 came from- a guy had a SPS66 and has surging issues so II worked with him and tried something new. II were happy enough with it to put it into production as the SPS 62.

Looks like the SPS62 only been out for a month now. I called Doug Smith and he says there hasn't been anyone going from a PS62 to a SPS62 yet so no direct comparisions have been done.

Super usually indicates a larger turbine wheel.
The standard "phat shaft" are with a standard sized turbine wheel.
The case with the "super" phat shaft 62 is the larger turbine wheel from a Super Phat Shaft 66 being used with the 62mm compressor wheel.
