phat shaft 62 installed
Alrighty, i gotter on this afternoon. (sorry for the slang, im from arkansas ) before i could peg the pyro at wot with my lil hx 35
now i cant get above 1250 with the new 62
before i was hitting about 42 psi (over spooled, i know)
now i hit about 43. id like about 46 though
I think they call it a "special" 62. (doug, correct me if im wrong here please!) Because its upgradable to 62/b2s400 twins. So its all on the way
tst comp is supposed to be in thursday or friday, ill post after that too! So far im really pleased!
BIG thanks to DOUG at PDW! Thanks man! great guy to work with.

Blackdiesel - Congrats!
TST will definately bring back the smoke...if desired
No new turbo break in period suggested by Mfg?
I know many people say breaking in a turbo is not necessary, but the only builder I ever personally spoke with (TAD... maker of B-1's) said to keep it under 20 psi for 500 miles. On metal components capable of spinning at over 100,000 rpm ....this advise just makes sense to me. Anyone else??

humm never herd that rj, but i did fill it up with oil and let it idle about 7 - 9 minutes (long enough for me to throw the tools back on the bench and check for leaks) then i got in it a babied it for a mile or two. 20 psi of boost won't even get me up the driveway
