I went from 13.8 -14 with edge comp and stock turbo to 16.4 -17 with my current setup

You ran a slower time with new turbo or stock turbo might be misunderstanding.

Meaning, in a twin turbo setup, you will not get much more HP read 10-15HP going from 65mm to 71mm turbine because twin turbos burn 90% of the fuel a VP powered truck can put out.

In a single turbo setup, like you have, I fully believe that a 71mm turbine is the way to go, and does make substantially more HP.
