performance help
I got a 97 2500 4x4 auto with k&n air filter and straight pipe exhaust. It is a daily driver and I dont pull to often but when I do I am not totally happy with the power and would like to get more, But I worried about the tranny holding up if I do... Trans has a new tci towing torque converter that they claim will hold up to 8oo ft/lbs. of torque and has a BD diesel performance valve body.. If someone could give some advice on some power adders that might work for me (best bang for the buck) I would greatly appreciate it...

You could try adjusting the fuel plate on your truck, search the forum plenty of instructions on how to do it. Best part is it is free! If that is not enough I would suggest something along a #10 fuel plate. See how that works for you, despite what some people claim it doesn't take much to get a truck to tow good. I prefer smaller modifications so you get what you need.
