Performance Combo Advise

Performance Combo Advise
I think I have put together a pretty good combo of parts to use on the truck in my sig. from reading everybodies advise on the board. I would just like to get yeas or naes and any suggestions you may have for my particular combo. I was thinking something along the lines of:
4" downpipe w/ a single 5" stack
Edge EZ
Jammer 3 nozzles
and a Scotty II.
Does this sound like a pretty solid fun combo? I have my turbo'd 98 SS Camaro to go get in trouble in, so I am not looking to make the most power in the world just something to have fun with.
What do yall think?

Skip the EZ, unless you get a good deal on a used one... Most end up upgrading later on... The in cab controls of the Comp, make it a more user friend box.. and if you don't want to tap the wire.. don't.. you will still have the in cab controls.. if you need to tow heavy and are worried about EGT with the stock turbo, you can just turn it off..
I like the Comp box.. but I would choose any in cab controlled box over a under the hood only box...
You will be looking for a clutch or Trany upgrade..
If you are going to go to stacks or stack... find someone that has had 4in exhaust and gone to a HX40 down pipe, and you should be able to save some $$$
Once that is done.. start looking for a turbo...
What you have is a good start... you will have lots of fun with it..

It all depends on what your going to do with your truck. There is nothing wrong with an EZ for a good basic power upgrade. Good part about the EZ you wont pierce the pump wire.
My wife's truck is running an EZ, DDII's, PDR HX35/12,DTT tranny and has put down over 350hp.
Also dont forget some kind of fuel line upgrades and a better lp unit(FASS)
Yes a Comp box would be cool!

Agree with Bryan!
But if you decide EZ is all you will need in future...You probably don't need the Scotty II. Stock Filter, with holes drilled in base should give you more than enough air for that combo, IMO.

If you are going to stay in the low power chips like the EZ I would go with the van Aaken V5 module. It brings on the power quick so you get good low end. It is also ALOT cheaper than the edge but is just as good if not better imo.

I am running the Van Aaken smartbox R and jammer 3's. With the 5 inch straight pipe and bhaf, I only see 1050* pre turbo. That is with the stock hx35. Low end power is great, but I will be upgrading to the drag comp for 2 reasons.
1- In the first 4 gears the truck pulls really hard and fast to 2700rpm, the stock de-fuel point, then takes a while to go above 3000rpm. I want to get rid of that annoying de-fuel point.
2. I want more power!

I'd recommend an ECM and see if that's enough. EGT will be well in hand with stock injectors. Then if you need/want more, just drop in some 275s.
Then you won't need any intake (well, a BHAF is cheap and plenty adequate if you wish), and you can keep your stock turbo and stock exhaust.
Heck, I bet a stock auto trans or stock clutch would hold it.
ECM is like $550, and injectors are <$300. If you go bigger, things get MUCH more expensive in terms of dollars/HP.
