How does the Van Aaken compare to the XZT+? At this point I am leaning toward the XZT+ based on what I have read but if the VA is going to do the same thing it would be nice to save the coin.

If you start leaning towards a EZ, skip it and get a Comp. You can run it as an EZ, but when you want to jump into some more power (trust me you will), you can tap the wire and open up a whole new area of Yee Haw.

This max milage module is a XZT+ without the 3rd (timing+fueling) setting. It only has off and timing settings. I believe it's upgradeable on Quadzilla's site, but I'd go with the XZT+ because you're going to want to 3rd setting believe me.

If you go to the big power boxes such as the Edge Comp or Quadzilla Adrenaline, you'll more than likely need transmission work to handle the extra power. Keep that in mind as a new clutch in a manual or adding parts to a automatic will cost more that the actual module.

I have the VA box on my 01, and am very happy with the towing performance; however, it does nothing for my mileage. I usually leave it turned off when not towing.

It's on all the time. I first thought I might want a switch, but haven't missed having it for the last two years.

I'm adding RV275s next, but with a TST PowerMax for a little extra umph. It WILL have an OFF switch.......

Found both in the forum classifieds.
