PDR40 and the edge comp boost elbow
OK guys I did it and it really seems to work. I get about 30 PSI under light throttle and thats with the comp on 3 WOT with the comp on 3 I get 36 with the Comp on 5 I get 44 PSi of boost and no more EGT probs! I was hitting 1500 before now Im hitting 1350 WOT with the comp on 5! So to me its working the only concren I have it taking the PDR 40 over 40 psi is that a problem?

Only time will tell, just be sure to report back in wether you are successful or unsuccessful in this venture over time. Even if "we" tell you its bad, would you really change it back?

Personally I wouldn't do it but thats just me. I've had one HX40 and thats all I care to have.

The word BOMB could be the word BOOM soon. tick tick tick
I'd be curious as to what the boost numbers would be after putting that bolt in without the elbow.

I knew you'd ask scotty so I will tell you! They were the same as before! So the Edge Elbow works but you guys say that 44 is to much So I'll change it back. :'(

Lets just say...he never expected this and is really ****** with the outcome.

The reliability of the HX40 is in question past 40PSI and it does not matter who sprinkled what kind of special pixie dust or magic powder on it.

If you have a pocketbook that can take the pressure of blowing stuff up...crank it up and smile

Don~

Just let 'er break in a little and see what happens. Who knows? Maybe with a few more miles on it it will get better. Many of the finer things in life get better with age.
