What's the best steering box to get seem's PCS is what everyone likes?
I think they have a couple different ones (offroad , H.D. etc. different ratio's ) what's the best ratio , model and where to purchase???

 

I am the same position as you. I've been looking at what PCS has to offer. I'm going to go with the sp-1490 hi displacment pump and sg-841MR box. My direction is to have a ram-assist cylinder though.

 

Ive had good results with my PSC, but my pump was weak so it had to go too.
In my case the biggest gain was going from a 4-turn box to a 3-turn. so much easier to drive on the highway.

thats what i was wondering about in part was ratio change seem to remember reading somewere they had a couple different ratio's and one was more preferred over the other but couldn't remember wich and why.
does a quicker ratio make the steering feel harder to turn the wheel or easier can't imagine this truck with a race type 2.2 lock to lock
The one failure this truck had was the box failed at 4000 miles dealer replaced with rebuild junk and truck was never the same

 

just call the guys at psc, they will steer you right.
