Past Time for Gauges

I think it is (past) time to bite the bullet and put in the triple gauges. I am trying to decide between the dash-pod and the a-pillar mounts. Does anyone have any suggestions as to a quality manufacturer with a good fit? I have seen several A-pillar mounts that are black - "just paint to match." Call me a pessimist, I have a feeling that would stick out like a sore thumb. My truck has the gray interior and the tweeter on the A-pillar.

As to the triple gauge dash mount - I like this idea. Anyone have any pics? Seeing the product against a white background is not the same as seeing it mounted in the truck.

Thanks All.
Scott

You can get a little spray bomb from the dealer that will match your interior color exactly. People are always surprized when I tell them that my pillar mounted gauges aren't a factory option.

I have my 3 gauges on the A-pillar with the tweeter too. I like they way they look. I doesnt block my vision as much as people make ya think it does. Maybe its just me I dunno. Ive always liked the look of the A-pillar mounted gauges.

Here you go.....granted it's not the best picture but atleast you can see it painted. I got my paint through Autometer and it matches pretty dang close and in all honesty you can't even really tell.......looks GREAT in my opinion!!

deffintly the A-pillar. I have a grey interrior with a 3 gauge/tweeter setup too. Tweeter fit well and the mount was strong enough the way I mounted it without drilling into the a-pillar or using tape. I used a rustolem "home" or something paint. They have a grey thats just about exactly our color. On both of our trucks you cant tell its not a factory paint job. if you want when i get home ill find the rattle can and get some sort of # off it or paint color name.

As for the dash mount gauges.... IMO it doesnt look nearly half as good as A-pillar

Its one big box on the dash with three gauges in it.... I just dont like it!

Go with A-pillar. I have the attitude monitor but bought my dad a set of ISSPRO Guages the pillar mount and a stage 8 torque plate. Now I am jealous !

I've been gauge hunting as well. What I'm looking for is an electric fuel pressure gauge that won't force me into a second mortgage (Autometer and others). I've found one that's pretty affordable but only reads to 16 psi. Would that be enough or should I keep looking?

Don't want to plumb fuel (or other fluids if using an isolator) into the cab, that's why I want electrical.

The 16psi will work....it will probably just be fully pegged the whole time if you have a strong lift pump ( which is no big deal ) Just as long as it doesn't dip down below 8psi you should be good to go
