I'm interested in installing an exhaust brake. This Pac Brake sounds good. I have the 48RE Auto in my new truck. Can I install this unit alone, or do I need to modify the transmission first? Anyone know? Thanks.

I'm sure this is a function of the ECM. Is there any way to change this to make it work while in cruise?
